During the Schöck Construction Innovation Award event in Baden Baden, two applicants from the IMB were awarded the Innovation Award 2022 for their outstanding master's theses. Ms. Annkathrin Sinning with the topic „Entwicklung eines Berechnungskonzeptes für Stahl- und Spannbetonträger mit Querkraftbewehrung unter zyklischer Querkraftbeanspruchung“ and Mr. Till Janiak with the topic „Experimentelle und theoretische Untersuchungen zum Verbundverhalten von Verankerungen und Übergreifungsstößen anhand von faseroptisch instrumentierten Bauteilversuchen“. Since 2000, the Schöck Award has honored innovative final theses that aim at simple, economical or durable structures.
