Research assistant (f/m/d) - PhD student

We are currently recruiting research assistants for the research areas carbon reinforced concrete and non-metallic reinforcement, composite construction, and reinforced and prestressed concrete construction. The salary is based on the German public service salary scale (TV-L), the position corresponds to a pay grade of EG 13 TV-L.

The overall goal of the employment as a research assistant is to obtain a doctoral degree. Your tasks include participation in project acquisition and the research proposal process, independent project execution, as well as the presentation of results in various projects in research and industry. You will use the versatile machinery and the measurement and software methods available at the institute for experimental and numerical research on different scales. You will further develop the methods, present the research results at national and international conferences and in scientific journals, and participate in technical committees and working groups on behalf of the Institute of Structural Concrete. In addition, you will supervise courses (tutorial, lecture) and scientific theses in the bachelor and master programs.
